The only one in the ranking that seriously does all three at once: conversation, HD images and video, from a single tab on a single subscription. Persistent memory, 19 voices, group roleplay. On paper it is the Swiss army knife of the adult segment, and in practice it roughly holds up.

Rare for this market: company ownership is verifiable. That sounds like nothing, and it is not something everyone here can claim.

Video, its real argument

Five and ten second clips, talking videos with synced voice, image-to-video conversion. It stands comparison with paid dedicated tools, which is true of no other companion app.

But: the failure rate sits around 40%. Close to every other attempt, you regenerate. Budget your tokens accordingly. One nuance worth knowing: the help center says technical failures (timeouts, server errors, blocked prompts) are refunded automatically within minutes. A clip that renders but looks wrong is not a failure, it is a spent 100 Dreamcoins.

Whatever your niche

This is where the gap with the rest of the market shows clearest. Man or woman, straight, bi, gay, trans, anime, furry: the rendering holds the same level throughout. Elsewhere, step outside the photorealistic straight couple and quality collapses, when generation does not simply refuse.

The publisher’s slogan wastes no time on subtlety: “If you can dream her, you can fuck her.” For once the marketing promise matches what you get. On adult images and video, OurDream is the current benchmark.

RPG mode, the feature nobody documents

This is the detail that explains the conversation score, and it appears nowhere else. OurDream exposes an RPG mode driven by commands typed straight into the chat: #lore to set the world, #map to place its locations, #pin npc to pin a secondary character the model has to keep track of.

This is not a girlfriend texting you from her couch, it is a fiction engine and you are the narrator. You define the setting, the model holds it and populates it. If you arrive with a frame in mind (an island, an inn, a hierarchy between characters), you get something here that no conversation-first app will give you.

And you do not have to build any of it yourself. You can step into a world someone else created, with its characters, its lore and its rules already in place, and play your part in it. That is the fastest thing to try: nothing to write, you show up and the setting already stands.

This is what puts OurDream halfway between an AI girlfriend and an online roleplaying game. You are not just keeping a relationship going, you are living in a world, and the adult side plays out inside it rather than beside it.

The flip side is real: everything runs through the narrative, adult scenes included, so it reads like a novel you are steering rather than a message arriving at midnight. Less immediate. Depending on what you came for, that is exactly the right trade or exactly the wrong one.

Group chat, an underrated feature

Several AI characters in the same conversation, interacting with each other and with you rather than one bot at a time. It sits under “Group Chats” in the browsing menu, alongside the individual character catalogue. It is the single most surprising feature of the group, and it costs nothing beyond whatever images you generate along the way, since standard text stays free. To make only one character answer, click its portrait or type @ and pick its name before you send.

How good is OurDream AI’s conversation, really?

Average, and that is the honest word. Replies follow the scene, hold the character’s tone and keep the plot moving. They rarely surprise you. Actions between asterisks show up as yellow text, a small touch that makes the roleplay readable.

Memory is advertised (“remembers past chats”), and independent reviews split on it: some praise a consistent roleplay, one 2026 review rates context retention low. Test it yourself rather than trust either side. Send twenty messages, drop a detail in message three, and see whether it comes back.

Cost note: standard chat is free for subscribers, but the premium chat models (Genius and Lively Genius) bill 1 Dreamcoin per response, and premium narration voices 5 per paragraph. Voice calls are 50 per minute, and the voice itself is flat. Nobody pays for OurDream’s conversation. They pay for what comes out of the generator.

Does OurDream AI allow NSFW content?

No filter on text, images or video. Being uncensored across all three at once is still rare: most rivals lock down video at minimum. That is what makes up for average conversation.

Ask for a hardcore sex video between your character and hers and it renders the act itself, moaning audio included, roughly six times out of ten before you have to hit regenerate.

Where the line sits. The content moderation policy bans sexual violence, trafficking, hate speech, self-harm promotion, non-consensual impersonation of real people, and any sexual content involving minors, implied depictions included. Prompts, characters and outputs are scanned automatically, with human review for public, flagged and reported content. The help center admits the automod is “a bit too sensitive right now and may flag safe content”, and says the strictness is partly demanded by payment providers. Expect the occasional false flag on an innocent prompt. Rephrase, and the coins come back.

Is OurDream free? The free tier is real, but narrower than it looks

What we recorded at signup: 50 messages a day and 55 tokens. The help center is stricter: without a subscription, each chat message costs 1 Dreamcoin, most features are locked, you cannot generate images or videos, and anything you already generated is blurred. Free coins are not offered (referrals and Discord giveaways aside).

Read it like this: the free account is a chat test, not a render test. You can judge the conversation, the character catalogue (the homepage claims over 11 million) and the RPG mode. You probably cannot judge the rendering on your own niche until you pay. That is a gate, not a filter, and you should know the difference before you hand over a card.

What to check for free: whether the replies hold the tone over twenty messages, whether #lore sticks, and how the signup flow treats your data. Then decide. The annual plan is the cheap way in, with a refund path (see the price section).

What will annoy you in OurDream AI

No native mobile app. Not iOS, not Android, at any tier. Browser only, with a home-screen shortcut (see below).

Tokens go fast: heavy multimedia use drains the 1,000 monthly Dreamcoins in two weeks. Standard text chat does not draw from the counter, even on paid plans. Images, video, voice calls and the premium chat models do.

The voice is flat. Monotone, behind Candy.ai, disappointing for a product this polished elsewhere.

Prompt fidelity is not total. A garment that changes, an approximate pose, sometimes a background detail ignored. 2026 Trustpilot feedback is consistent on this. The rendering itself stays excellent: this is the flaw you accept here, because image quality more than makes up for it.

The data clause is broad: the privacy policy lists training the company’s AI models among the uses of your data, and sets no retention period. Details in the safety section below.

Does OurDream AI have an app?

No native app, on iOS or Android, at any tier. But there is a workaround, and the help center documents it: OurDream installs as a web app (PWA) on your home screen.

• iPhone: open ourdream.ai in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”.
• Android: open it in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, then “Add to Home Screen”.

You get an icon on your home screen, nothing more: it is the website, not a store app, and it will not appear in the App Store or Google Play. If you want a store app instead, DreamGF is the alternative covered below.

How much does OurDream AI cost?

$9.99 a month on annual billing ($119.88 charged upfront), half the $19.99 monthly rate. Both plans include unlimited messages, image and video generation and 1,000 tokens a month, with 1,000 bonus tokens on the first subscription. OurDream calls its tokens Dreamcoins. Standard text chat never draws from the counter; images, video, calls and premium chat models do.

Do the maths on video: a five-second clip with sound is 200 coins, so a month of annual plan gives you roughly five of them. That is the whole story of “tokens go fast”.

Extra coins are sold only to active subscribers. Third-party guides quote about $10 per 1,000 coins, which we could not confirm on the official site: check the checkout page. Coins do not reset monthly according to the help center (they stay after a subscription expires), though the cancellation article says unused coins last until the period ends, so do not bank on a large stockpile.

Payment and exit. Cards and crypto are accepted, PayPal is not. Cancelling is done on your profile page and does not trigger a refund by itself. Refund requests go through “Request Help” on the profile: nothing refundable once more than 25% of the product is used, monthly plans are not refunded once coins are used up, annual plans may get a full or partial refund, and crypto payments are never refundable.

Is OurDream AI safe?

Depends what you mean by safe.

Publisher: a registered US company, Dream Studio USA, Inc. (named in the site footer). The privacy policy also names Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd. as entities handling your data, and does not state where Tektopia is registered. Ownership is verifiable, which is rare in this segment.

What it collects: email, username, payment details (through payment vendors), your chats, posted images and shared characters, plus IP address, approximate location, device identifiers and analytics cookies (Google Analytics).

Training: the policy (last modified 9 October 2025) lists “to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models” among the uses of your information. It does not say you can opt out. Assume your chats can feed the model.

Sharing: with affiliates and vendors (storage, payment, support, analytics). The policy says it does not sell personal data and currently runs no advertising. Public characters you publish are visible to other users.

Encryption: AES at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, on a SOC 2 certified host, according to the policy. That protects against outsiders, not against the company itself. The site advertises encrypted chats, but the policy describes only these two layers, not end-to-end encryption: treat your chats as readable by the operator, and by human moderators when content is flagged or reported.

Retention: “the time necessary for the purposes”, with no figure. Deleting your account is permanent, takes 24 to 48 hours from your profile (“danger zone”), wipes chats and generations and forfeits unused coins. GDPR-style requests go to [email protected].

Red flag: a training clause and an open-ended retention period, on a product built for intimate content. Keep your real name and identifying details out of the chat, and consider a virtual card if you want a hard cap on spending.

The free account needs no commitment: judge the chat there, and decide what you are willing to hand over.

How do I cancel OurDream AI?

Profile page, cancel, confirm. Access runs to the end of the billing period. Your images and videos get blurred afterwards until you resubscribe, so download them first. No automatic refund: use “Request Help” if you qualify.

Can I upload a photo of a real person to OurDream AI?

No. Reference-photo uploads are not allowed, and non-consensual impersonation is banned. Characters come from the creator and the prompt.

Can I use OurDream AI images commercially?

Yes, per the help center, if you generated the content yourself (not another user) and your use respects the terms and policies.

Does OurDream AI work in other languages?

Yes. The help center says to ask the character to speak your language and it will switch, though it can take a few prompts. The interface stays in English.

Do Dreamcoins expire?

The help center says coins do not expire and stay in the account if the subscription lapses. Another article says unused coins last until the period ends after a cancellation. Spend them before you cancel.

The current benchmark as soon as adult images and video matter more than conversation, whatever your niche. Conversation stays average: fine, never memorable. Accept browser-only access and regenerating half your videos, try the free account for the chat, and you will know quickly. If it clicks, take the annual plan.

One line of lucidity: a generator that never says no and costs coins per image is built to be re-run. Set a monthly coin budget before you start, not after.
